Craving to eat Kofta? At El Akeela street, you can find what you are searching for at Kofta Fe Reghif Truck. Mostafa El Sayed, Chef at Kofta Fe Reghif Truck said that the sandwich is simply made of grilled kofta placed in a half-loaf of bread. Peppers, onions, fresh lettuce, and tomatoes can be added to the sandwich to add different flavors. Elsayed added that when “our kofta lovers show up at the truck, we serve them the main course that consists of two koftas that are about 10 cm long. The salads come on the platter. The chef highlighted that this truck is part of Reghif Hawawshy truck which is also located on the same street referring to their second branch which is inside Dolphin mall in the 6th of October city. El Sayed mentioned that their menu is rich in terms of the variety of the grilled meat and chicken options they provide. As per sandwiches, they offer grilled kebab, tarb, steak, and shish taouk. In order to appeal to different tastes, they also have the normal french fries and fried chicken sandwiches to suit whoever doesn’t love grilled food. All the sandwiches include grilled tomatoes, pickles, and tahini paste. Besides the sandwiches which are conveyed from the name of the truck, they offer rice and fries plates alongside grilled meat or chicken options. All the plates are served with two additional options which the customer picks from the following: pickles, Tahini paste, Garlic paste, and Baba ghanoush. One of the customers eating from the truck expressed her joy saying that “great food truck at El Akeela street” referring to the kofta she just ate which she said that it was “generous portions” that made her feel full.
